Recently opened in mid-November, Yawmiyāt Bistronomy brings a refreshing dual concept to Riyadh, uniting Dalal’s Table — the Classic Soul with George’s Table — the Modern Twist. The result is a space where comforting Levantine flavours meet light contemporary touches, creating a bistronomy rooted in family heritage yet open to playful interpretation. The atmosphere is warm and lived-in, with colourful décor, lace details, handcrafted ceramics, and an inviting sense of home. An open kitchen reveals the chefs at work, adding transparency and energy to the dining room. Service is anchored by Sara Katanani, daughter of Chef Dalal, whose presence ensures that everything runs smoothly. The team is warm and attentive, with Chef George visiting tables to gather feedback, reinforcing an authentic connection between the kitchen and guests. Despite being newly opened, the rhythm is steady, and the welcome feels sincere. On the plate, the restaurant balances tradition and modernity with ease. The manoucheh with cheese and zaatar is rustic, generous, and fragrant; the reworked muhalabiya pairs silky cream with crisp pastry shards for a contemporary twist; and the “breakfast on one plate” brings together labneh, cheese, eggs, and vegetables in a fresh, colourful composition. Portions are abundant, flavours clean and satisfying, and presentation expressive without being overly refined. Altogether, Yawmiyāt Bistronomy delivers a comforting, vibrant, and honest experience. With very good food at accessible prices, a welcoming setting, and a family-driven spirit, it stands out as a charming new address in Riyadh’s growing casual-gourmet scene.
