Nothing to be intimidated by in the name : the “Palace” vibe isn’t overwhelming in this ground-floor dining room, with its large buffet offering a simple and practical hotel-style service. You can also dine à la carte, with a broad, classic selection of Mediterranean dishes. The assortment of cold mezze stands out for its moutabal, hummus, and labneh, the steamed lamb shank has good flavor, with fragrant rice and a creamy, tangy sauce. If mouhalabieh isn’t available, you can opt for the crème caramel, basic and generous like all the dishes here, already inexpensive and easy to share.
