In the sublime setting of this rocky chaos formed 500 million years ago, where the ochre sandstone of the canyon plays with the light, residents are more than privileged, they experience unique moments. Whether by the pool or in the main dining room, the restaurant offer is based on natural simplicity and a Zen attitude: salads, soups and a few typical Western dishes, based above all on the freshness and quality of the products. The classic small fried shrimps are served with a fine peach and halloumi salad, orange segments and date slivers; the "khabsa chicken", with spices and rice is enhanced by a steamed finish, under a galette veil, keeping the whole dish soft and fluffy, before a red fruit crumble, a little unstructured but very well made, with a remarkable instant strawberry ice cream. The drinks offer is set to expand further to offer a variety of flavours and textures, and service is as dedicated and friendly as can be. For outside customers, access is more complicated (reservation required, security gate at the estate’s entrance, difficult return journey half an hour away from the city) but not impossible if you're persistent.
