At a time when the fine dining and tourism sectors are still in a phase of great development, this Takara, which opened six years ago, is a model of success. The tables are full and the service keeps pace, offering the experience of a warm, expertly run neighborhood institution. The service is as fluent in English and Arabic as it is in French, and the Japanese and fusion dishes are well prepared, with serious compositions on technique, aided by the freshness of the produce. We find quality sashimi, nigiri approaching exemplary, with real Japanese rice (still a little too heavy) and fine cuts of fish, gyozas of a good standard, revisited maki deserving of a mention (smoked wagyu, shrimp tempura, crab and tobiko...). The usual fusion clichés are also on the menu: tacos, teppanyaki, lobster, wagyu with truffles... Elegant surroundings and dim lighting.
