Mainly frequented by expats and the more relaxed Saudi youth, Sofia's bistro obviously plays on contemporary aesthetic codes to attract this rather special clientele. The long kitchen opens onto the dining room, where an army of cooks are busy, the service is mixed and relaxed, and the menu offers an exhaustive selection of Mediterranean cuisine in the broadest sense : a generous wagyu beef taco, a wide choice of pastas (available in gluten-free versions) and risottos (with a special mention for the seafood spaghetti), pizzas (also available in gluten-free versions) and a number of well-crafted desserts, including a more than respectable crème brûlée. Two addresses in Jeddah, one in Al-Hamra and the other in Hayy Jameel.
