On the city’s chicest avenue, this old-style ristorante unfurls its slightly dated charm and impeccably drilled service in a reassuring sky-blue décor. The pizza-and-pasta menu makes no attempt at originality and rather lacks genuine Italian regional specialties. While the essentials — welcome, service, rhythm — are of a good standard, the kitchen is a little disappointing : both the vitello tonnato and the lasagna fall short of what one expects from these classics. A well-executed tiramisu nonetheless earns the place a mention, for a total bill of around 250 SAR.
