What undeniably makes the success of this fusion Japanese restaurant is, above all, the festive atmosphere, as if the cuisine alone weren’t enough, created by a stylish lounge-style decor, punctuated by the beats of loud music and the vocal announcements of dishes, echoed in chorus by the enthusiastic kitchen crew. Everyone, from guests to servers, follows the rhythm, while exploring the extensive and expected menu (featuring everything that can, more or less, be associated with the Land of the Rising Sun). The yellowtail nigiri are a bit pricey for what they deliver, but the shrimp tempura with spicy mayo are enjoyable, and the baby chicken, beautifully presented American-style, is incredibly tender, cooked over cedar embers and served with lemony cucumber. A large and lively service staff, an impressive selection of mocktails and teas.
