On the first floor of the Mövenpick, this elegant Indian table combines decorative elements from the subcontinent with traditional, well-executed cuisine. Between the large canvases painted in the style of a herbalist's notebook, the old wooden and caned doors and the paisley-patterned seats, the chef restores the classics with as much care for content as for form, with the tikki amritsari with Punjabi chickpeas, with almond crumbs, tamarind and yoghurt, the excellent lamb korma cooked with cashew nut paste, curry leaves, shiitake and truffle oil, tender and long on the palate, with well-balanced spices between roundness and liveliness, the saffron-flavored rice exemplary.
