In a rapidly expanding area of Dammam, a restaurant that pays tribute to Middle Eastern cuisine with inspiration and sincerity (even if there are a few pizzas on the menu that make you wonder what they’re doing here). The interest lies elsewhere, in the very fine interpretation of pasha and askra or shish taouk with chicken, tomatoes, grilled onions and grilled potatoes, two lovely dishes that are both generous and well-cooked. The only dessert on the menu is the oum ali, an Egyptian-inspired, elegantly crafted dessert. Service is available, and the main dining room is rather dark but opens onto a vast, air-conditioned veranda.
