At Morini Riyadh, the meal unfolds with simplicity and honesty rather than refinement. The piadina margherita offers soft dough, melted mozzarella, and tomato sauce with fresh basil, pleasant but unremarkable. The gnocchi pomodoro are tender and well-cooked, the sauce rich and flavorful, yet the whole remains heavy and ordinary, lacking depth and precision. The homemade cannoli, filled with vanilla and berry cream, finally brings freshness and balance, standing out as the highlight of the meal. The restaurant’s beautiful décor and welcoming staff contribute warmth and charm to the experience. The menu (three dishes for 90 SAR) offers excellent value for a simple yet satisfying meal, even if the overall experience stays far from the sophistication expected at this level.
