Cédric Vongerichten, who trained under his famous father Jean-Georges, has also set up a group of restaurants fusing France and Asia, Indonesia in particular, with his wife Ochi. This hotel restaurant, well placed away from the marina, offers a privileged location in a setting that is, if not warm, at least bright and welcoming, with mauve banquettes and blond wood parquet flooring. Lunch offerings are simple, and more elaborated at dinner : a good technique on octopus tentacles and crispy potato, tomato sauce with Thai accents, and fish, a little overcooked, with crispy skin, candied peppers, onions and broccolini. A decent chocolate cake for dessert, not too sweet, with a forgettable coconut ice cream. Non-alcoholic wine, fresh fruit juices, mocktail creations, diligent but slightly long service.
