Gault&Millau's review 2026

Lusin, located on the second floor of Riyadh’s ultra-luxe Centria Mall, feels like stepping into a private lounge — quiet, dim and mysterious. But while the atmosphere leans on the dark side, the food tells a much livelier story. The menu draws inspiration from Armenian cuisine, with Levantine notes scattered throughout. But unfortunately, on our visit, several key Armenian dishes — notably the famous mante and soborak — were unavailable with no clear explanation. Still, what was served delivered in both flavor and presentation. Our recommendations are the Yalanji eggplant and the Matzone meat rolls (crispy lavash wrapped around juicy, flavorful meatballs, balanced by cool yogurt). All in all, while service and energy may be lacking, the food is pleasant. A good option for a groups and families, as the plates are great for sharing.
