Like a number of other restaurants in the country, Antica Pizzeria is an (almost) perfect copy of a well-known address in its home country. The bright red Fiat 500 that sits almost in the middle of the room immediately sets the scene, as do the many photos on the walls, including one of Julia Roberts seated at the Antica Pizzeria Da Michele in Naples, during the filming of one of the scenes in "Eat, Pray, Love" in 2010. Of course, the soundtrack also plays the Italian card, looping all the great hits by Umberto Tozzi, Richard Cocciante or Ricchi e Poveri, while spouting beautiful pizzas from a traditional oven. It's a delightful plunge into the heart of Italy as we like it, with (very) generous pizzas made with light, well-risen dough, beautifully prepared pasta dishes and (homemade) tiramisu... We close our eyes, recall Julia Roberts' famous line "I'm in love, I'm having a relationship with my pizza", and imagine ourselves strolling alongside her in the narrow streets of old Naples.
