The magnificent decor and dynamic, lively atmosphere make for a pleasant interlude during a business lunch at KAFD, or longer in the evening with friends, at the counter or at one of the large tables with superb woodwork that adorns the entire room. As for the cuisine, the preparation and quality of the fish are in the mid-range, and the chef readily resorts to powerful sauces to boost the flavors. Quite high prices for otoro tuna nikkei style, spicy almond chimichurri, ikura, orange ponzu and avocado ceviche ("japanese acevichado"), shrimp furai, avocado, tuna, yuzu ceviche sauce, andean furikake, with the wagyu, cut too thin to withstand the flame, benefiting from a very softened chimichurri.
