Benefiting from the setting, prestige, and comfort of the JW Marriott hotel, even though it's tucked away in a corner at the back of the lobby, this sushi bar is both convenient and well-positioned. Erwen, the Filipino sushi master, takes some liberties with orthodoxy by adding his personal twist to every creation, a drizzle of his own sauce, fish roe, a torch finish on the eel with his special unagi sauce. The menu is extensive, going far beyond sushi, sashimi, and maki, with the chef enjoying great freedom to work with available ingredients, tuna, salmon, amberjack, eel, and shrimp, for example in crispy rolls. Smiling and attentive service from Catherine, always ready to meet any request.
