Fi Glbak is the first restaurant to be opened by the very popular blogger Hisham Baeshen (whose cooking videos are shown on a loop on the huge screen at the back of the room). The aim is to bring together in one place the different culinary influences of the major regions of Saudi Arabia, in a charming and carefully designed setting where natural materials and vegetation play a predominant role. On the plate, it's easy to see why the chef, beyond his presence on camera, has millions of fans, with tasty, generous and fresh stuffed vine leaves, precisely cooked meat samossas with a well-balanced filling blending power and lightness, and a tasty lamb shoulder slowly confit over embers. Affordable prices and excellent service.
