Gault&Millau's review 2026

Everywhere in the world where luxury gathers, resort towns, business hubs, assorted paradises, Cipriani has set up an outpost to extend its Italian-style relaxation. In the Hittin district, not far from the Financial District, the grand brand boasts a vast dining room with Murano-evoking chandeliers in a classic ristorante setting. The impeccably attentive service makes no missteps, the menu is extensive, adding a small Japanese chapter (just in case) and daily specials. We encountered very good ricotta-spinach ravioli scented with sage leaf, reminiscent of “burro e salvia,” unexpected scallops cooked to rubbery texture with pilaf rice and a very lemony jus studded with tiny capers. The spectacular strawberry mille-feuille, well executed, with generous vanilla cream and few strawberries, provides a striking finish to the meal. Very extensive mocktail list and good Italian coffee.
