Gault&Millau's review 2026

A corner of the South of France for French tourists passing through the Diplomatic Quarter, and a slightly broader space for regulars of Riyadh’s mixed-influences cuisine that draws from every shore of the Mediterranean. In this welcoming interior, set in the middle of a small shopping area, the “salade niçoise” strays rather far from the original recipe in its choice of ingredients with avocado placed right in the center, and the ingredients lined up next to one another without dressing, tomato, quail eggs, tuna tartare, raw green beans (a bit surprising), and potatoes. The service is well-informed, familiar with both the menu and dining customs. The gnocchis with daube are nicely creamy, the meat decent, well-braised and tender, with a straightforward execution. The chocolate fondant is a textbook rendition, molten and warm, just as expected, garnished somewhat naïvely with a few red berries.
