One of the most popular little shops in this old fishermen’s neighborhood. The ritual never changes, in a precarious, deeply authentic setting : you pick your fish and prawns from the tanks on the ground-floor, pay at the counter, then climb the narrow staircase up to the small dining room or one of the salons (where you naturally remove your shoes). It’s all very simple, perhaps, but the fish is ultra-fresh and perfectly grilled, the salads are tasty, and you get the classic trio of sauces: spicy, vinegary, and garlic-yogurt. No cutlery except a few plastic spoons for the sauces, plus a bottle of water and a small pack of paper napkins for after you’ve licked your fingers clean.
