In the picturesque old quarter of Al Balad, a restaurant that is also full of character, but also reputable enough for tourists to sneak in, tasting this authentic atmosphere and ocean of simplicity, an authentic slice of traditional Jeddah. The team is on alert to manage the crowds : the stall attendant, the order taker and an army of runners who move from the ground floor to the first floor. Salad, water and classic sauces arrive on the table on their own, accompanying, for example, the Al Basali shrimp and calamari tajin and the very good, very fresh Hareed brushed with Indian spices, with the two rices, one white, the other brown with spices.
