Korean chef Sung Ook Back, known as Akira Back, currently oversees some twenty restaurants worldwide. This former professional snowboarder, forced to give up his sport after a serious injury, learned to cook from the great Nobuyiki Matsuhisa ("Nobu") before setting up in Dubai, Toronto and Paris, at the Prince of Wales. He has now moved to Riyadh's diplomatic quarter, where he offers a wide-ranging menu of Asian specialties, from miso eggplant to apple harumaki, as well as a wide choice of sushi, maki and nigiri. Fresh products, mastered techniques, comfort, for a nice trip in business class.
